PRISM.ai does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser.
1. What We Collect
PRISM.ai Chrome Extension collects nothing. Specifically:
- No personal information
- No browsing history
- No prompts or messages you type
- No usage data or analytics
- No cookies
- No account required
2. How the Extension Works
PRISM.ai operates entirely within your browser:
- Prompt optimization happens locally — your text never leaves your device
- Token counting is estimated locally using word count approximation
- Auto-learned filler words are stored in your browser's localStorage only
- No data is sent to PRISM.ai servers or any third party
3. Permissions We Request
PRISM.ai requests the following Chrome permissions:
- activeTab — to inject the PRISM button into AI chat interfaces
- clipboardWrite — to copy optimized prompts to clipboard
- scripting — to run content scripts on supported AI platforms
- storage — to save your learned filler words locally
We only access pages on: claude.ai, chatgpt.com, and gemini.google.com.
4. Local Storage
PRISM.ai uses your browser's localStorage to remember filler words you've removed over time. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is never transmitted anywhere
- Can be cleared anytime by removing the extension
5. Third Parties
PRISM.ai does not share any data with third parties. We have no analytics, no advertising partners, and no data brokers.
6. Children's Privacy
PRISM.ai does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The extension does not collect any information from any user.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension means you accept any changes.
